How are voting codes sent to voters?

Each voter receives a unique code. You can distribute it through your usual channels or use the built-in e-mail or SMS delivery.

Is proxy voting possible?

Yes. A voter can hand their vote to a proxy, along with voting instructions, and a proxy can hold the proxies of several members.

Can documents or a video be attached to the vote?

Yes. You can add files (report, accounts, minutes…) and embed a video directly on the voting page, so everyone has the information they need before casting their vote.

Can voters be organised into groups or categories?

Yes. Voters can be split into groups or categories, depending on how your ballot is organised.

Can V01X administrators access voter data or vote on a voter's behalf?

No. Voting tokens are generated at the moment of voting and are never stored on our servers: no one, not even our administrators, can reuse them. Voter anonymity is at the heart of V01X, and at no point do our administrators have access to voter data.

What is written to the blockchain?

Only the votes, in anonymous form, so they can be verified. No personal data is stored there.

What if a voting code is lost?

Voting codes are not kept on our servers, so a lost code cannot be recovered. Always keep a backup copy of your codes.
